Island Tower +

Restoration of the listed façades from the 13th and 19th centuries.

The last visible remnant of the Castle of the Island, built in the 13th century on the site of the bridge demolished by Julius Caesar to contain the Helvetii, the Tour de l’Île is one of Geneva’s most iconic landmarks. Its poor overall condition calls for a delicate intervention to ensure its long-term preservation.
Ganz Muller Architects has been entrusted with the restoration of the façades. The age and condition of these centuries-old façades require particular care and meticulous work on each individual stone.
