Construction of Residential Buildings and Community Center,
Competition

Emergences is situated in a diverse neighborhood where buildings are distinguished by varied sizes, multiple functions, and different periods of construction. To create harmony within this contrasting context, we chose an intermediate scale, aiming for a subtle balance between integration and modernity. This thoughtful volumetry allows a natural dialogue between the existing built environment and the surrounding landscape.

The master plan is organized around five pentagonal volumes: four residential buildings and a community center. This compact, multifaceted structure offers a radiant architecture that enriches the neighborhood with outdoor spaces and inspiring views, encouraging collective life.

The varying building heights—lower in the south and higher in the north—maximize sunlight exposure and optimize transitions with the surrounding landscape. The constructions are designed using cross-laminated timber panels, and solar panels are integrated into the façades and roofs.
