The project involves the renovation of the farmhouse and its outbuilding, located in an agricultural zone, with the creation of four residential units: the existing dwelling is transformed, while three new units are arranged within the barn and its outbuilding. A heritage assessment revealed that the structure of the main building incorporates elements of the former fortified enclosure of Jussy Castle. The project is developed in close collaboration with the Office of Heritage and Sites, and both buildings are listed in the heritage inventory. This approach allows for the reconciliation of heritage preservation, contemporary comfort, and harmonious integration into the landscape, giving new life to this historic site while maintaining its identity.
