Renovation of the Centre International de Conférences Genève
Competition – First Prize

Modernizing a building without compromising its identity. This very classic challenge was taken on as part of the renovation of the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG), a building designed in 1973 by architects André and François Gaillard and Alberto Camenzind.

The renovation focuses primarily on three key elements: flooring, lighting, and furniture. To enhance comfort and aesthetics, certain areas have been completely reimagined . A new reception area has been created bright and functional, it allows for modular setups of work and exhibition zones around the reception space. A cafeteria/bar has also been added to encourage interaction and networking — essential functions of such a center. Quieter and more intimate, a lounge club offers speakers a space to work or relax.
