A large-scale project including sports facilities, swimming pools, water play areas, spa & hammam, hotel, restaurants, and shops, Vitam’Parc is a leisure and wellness complex located in a border area at the foot of the Saleve.
For such a complex, integration into the natural environment in harmony and respect for nature is the main challenge. To meet this, the proposal aims to reshape the topography.
Some 18,000 m² of green roofs help reduce the visual impact of the commercial building. The hall housing the indoor pools features a three-dimensional wooden structure spanning over 26 meters; its exterior cladding consists of air-inflated ETFE cushions. The transparency and brightness of the whole create for users the sensation of being inside a greenhouse.
