Built in 1932, Geneva-Beach is a remarkable complex notable for its architectural simplicity and the clarity of its site plan. However, numerous interventions over time have altered its original image.<\/p>\n\n

The first intervention took place in 2006, following a call for tenders. It aimed, on one hand, to renovate all the technical installations that had become obsolete\u2014filtration, piping, heat productio and, on the other hand, to renovate the buildings in close collaboration with the heritage and monuments service: the entrance area, changing rooms, restaurant, and various facilities were redefined in accordance with the original project.<\/p>\n\n

In 2012, following a partnership between the State of Geneva and a private developer, the office was commissioned to design and build the SPA\/hammam “Bain Bleu,” whose fa\u00e7ade, illuminated with moucharabieh screens, offers a warm and inviting presence. <\/p>\n\n

In 2019, the collaboration continued with the expansion of the SNG harbor, including the creation of a play area for children, a new refreshment stand, and landscaped development along the new boundary between the two sites.<\/p>\n\n
