On a plot in Grand-Lancy, a 60-meter-long linear building from the 1970s has been extended at one of its gable ends. In dialogue with the horizontality of the existing block, three volumes containing three- and four-room apartments have been added, structuring the circulation spaces, which are naturally lit by three glazed openings. The building thus acquires a new identity, becoming an urban landmark that marks the road to Saint-Georges. <\/p>\n\n
The project explores a wide range of typologies: single-family units, duplexes, balconies, terraces, and gardens. This diversity allows for the provision of housing with different statuses\u2014HM, ZDloc, and free-market rentals\u2014thereby promoting social diversity and richness of use. Directly connected to the living spaces, the balconies are carved into the facades, hollowing out the corners and sculpting the built volume.
